Has made the waxing process... far less tedious

We're on-mountain 35-45 times a year and I've gotten in the bad habit of tuning our skis/boards maybe twice a season. From heating up the garage to cleaning up the scraping shavings, I just wasn't a fan... but also too cheap to pay for a tune every other week. I ran across the IR Waxer on IG and was instantly intrigued. The learning curve was next to nothing. Like others have said, a quick pass or two with the IR waxer over your base before you rub your wax is worthwhile. Much easier to apply the wax. A few more passes with the IR waxer and bam... done. No scraping is the biggest benefit. Hated cleaning up the mess.

After a good brush, you're ready to rock. Beautiful finish.

My only feedback is the stiffness of the power cord. I bit rigid at first. Waxing our rip sticks more and loving every second of it.

2 quick tips for the use of the IR waxer

#1 tip warm up the bases of your skis or snowboard before crayoning the wax.this helps warm up the wax for the waxer .#2 tip before you apply the wax throughly clean the base with a good base cleaner, this will help the wax penetrate the bases better. I had the waxer and used it a couple of times and it worked ok,but it seemed like it wasn't working as efficiently as I thought it should. I did these 2 adjustments, and a good brushing after I was done. We took our skis and snowboard out after I did it this way ,and the difference was really noticeable
