Introducing the IR GUIDE - an adjustable rail system for your Infrared Waxer. Simply place your waxer in the tray and roll it at a consistent height above your ski/snowboard.

EASY TO USE: No more arm fatigue. Place the IR Waxer in the tray and roll!
CONSISTENCY: Adjust the height of the rails and keep the waxer at a steady height.
QUICK ASSEMBLY: With just a few bolts, you can assemble/disassemble the IR PRO.
DIMENSIONS:
- FEET: Only 48" apart. Can be setup on 4 foot wax table.
- RAILS: 210cm in length. The Waxer can slide past the end of the skis so you can work on the ski without moving the rail system.
VERSATILE: Works with HappyNorwegian Tuning Stands or normal ski vises.

NOTE: The GUIDE is designed to work with the V2 IR Waxer (launched in Fall 2024 and has a black handle). It can work with the V1 IR Waxer (Blue Handle) but the waxer won't sit totally flush in the tray.

Good - Room for improvement

So we all use the IR waxer because it's fast and less messy, right? Because we're 'lazy'? Along that vein, I like to also use rotobrushes. Less work. Unfortunately, while the waxer can slide out of the way to work on my skis, the bottom rail is too close/the wrong height to allow me to rotobrush my skis after waxing. Minor issue, but definitely opportunity for improvement in a V2 version... thanks for launching this!

Absolute Game Changer!!!

The guys at Mountain Flow have been so rad to deal with. As the only ski and snowboard service provider in Western Australia I service over average 300-400 skis and boards a year. As a one man band this has been an arduous task. When I found out about Mountain Flow over a year ago I hit them up about the IR waxer and they informed me they were creating a model to suit 220V power supply. Have absolutely loved the IR waxer and with the guide it has made the process seamless.

Review of the new IR guide received yesterday

I received the IR guide yesterday. I have the blue handled IR device and had to remove the lower resting pegs to get it to fit better. Is the black handled IR device a different size to allow it to fit the tray better?
The system seems to work much better than using the IR device hand held. I may have to tweak the distance from the ski base a bit. What distance do you recommend ? I am currently using 2 inches Have haven’t used it alot yet. I’m using a brass, nylon and horse hair brush in that order which seems to work well Any suggestions from your end

Thanks Bob! Yes, the Black Handled IR will fit better with any modifications. However, with the blue handled waxer, just remove the lower pegs as you did. 2 inches is a good place to start - you could probably get even closer. As you move closer to the ski, you want to move the waxer faster down the ski and keep an eye on the bases. Closer means the bases will get hotter faster. Once the wax is melted (looks black and liquidy), keep moving. There is no advantage to continuing to heat already melted wax.

Perfection! A must buy to compliment the IR Waxer.

Assembly easy. Quality good. Functions well, however Waxer does not fit well on the tray. I had to modify the tray to make the unit sit flat.

It sounds like you might have the V1 IR Waxer (Blue Handle). The tray for the GUIDE was designed specifically for the V2 waxer (Black Handle). As you noted, the tray will work for the V1 waxer but it may require some modification. The easiest way to make it fit, in our opinion, is to unscrew the support feet on the lower part of the unit.
