Overall pleased and don’t regret my purchase one bit.

The rails are built quite sturdy which was a pleasant surprise. My only minor complaint with the system is the lamp isn’t big enough to cover an entire snowboard at once. I can only do half at and time then have to flip it, which isn’t a big deal, but I was kind of hoping/thinking it would do the entire board at once. Perfect for a single ski. Then with the rail system I had to screw it down to my bench to take a twist out of the rail so it would run a consistent flat without teetering. Which is fine for my waxing bench setup, but wouldn’t work well if you were planning to just set it on a table top or bench you couldn’t put screws through. I waxed 3 boards right out the gate and it was fairly quick. I found that after I got the wax melted into the board if I used a cork over it, it helped to spread the wax out to areas the crayoning missed and then run a couple more passes over with the lamp seemed to work fairly well. It definitely took multiple slow passes to get the board warm enough to accept and melt the wax, which makes the rail system an arm saver. My only worry is when the infrared lamps inevitably burn out, will I be able to get replacements and will they be at a fair price?

Game Changer!

The best combo in skiing since cocoa and schnapps. I was just getting into tuning my gear and heard a lot about the Infrared Waxer. I was already pretty sold on it but once I saw the new rail system, I was all in! They had a demo setup at Snowbound in Boston and I saw it in action. I can't wait for mine to arrive.
