Q: What is the wattage? 
A: 900w (2 450w bulbs)  

Q: What is the voltage requirement? A: We have two versions. In the US, the IR Waxer uses a standard 110v plug. For Europe and international use, the IR Waxer uses a 220v plug.

Q: How close to the base do I need to hold the device?  
A: Proximity to the base is the primary mechanism for controlling heat. The closer/longer you hold it in one spot, the hotter that spot will get. We recommend holding the waxer around 4-6 inches from the base of the ski.  

Q: Does it work with all waxes?
A: Absolutely! The IR Waxer will work with any hot wax.  

Q: What are the dimensions of the unit?  
A: ~8.5 in x 5 in x 7.5 in. 

Q: Does the IR Waxer work with all types of equipment? XC skis, snowboards, etc 
A: Yes, you can use the IR Waxer with alpine skis, XC skis, and snowboards.
